FINAL FANTASY XV: A New Action RPG by Square Enix
Final Fantasy XV is a new action role-playing game developed by Square Enix. It is not connected to the previous installments of the series. The game is available on PlayStation 4 and is a full version licensed game. The story takes place in the world of Eos, where the heir of the Lucis Empire throne, Noctis Lucis Caelum, sets out on a quest with his comrades to recover a stolen magical gem. The theft of the gem sparks a global conflict between all the nations in Eos.
The game features a heavily modified combat system that resembles the one featured in Final Fantasy Type-0. However, there is no option to control any of the four main protagonists apart from Noctis himself. The players can use vehicles such as tanks or robots and summon beings that differ in rank based on their size. Magic is also present in the game, and by consuming the power of natural elements from their sources, Noctis is able to cast spells. The game also features a "Link Form" ability that allows for contextual attacks.
